Counteraction to religious-political extremism as the factor of maintenance of an information and psychological security of the person
Incoming article date: 17.12.2014Article considers a problem of counteraction to religious-political extremism and value of its decision in formation of an information and psychological security of the person. The author proves that influence on an information and psychological security renders not only ideology of extremism, but, that is more important, practical extremist actions and their negative social consequences. The extremism as the wide social phenomenon represents actual threat of an information and psychological security of Russians. It aims to transform an individual, group and mass consciousness. It modifies behaviour of the person and social groups. The greatest danger is religious-political extremism as the symbiotic form of illegal activity. Counteraction to religious-political extremism and terrorism is the major problem in the field of maintenance of a national security in Russia. Use of information and ideological methods of counteraction to extremism will assist to increase of an information and psychological security of the person in conditions of extremist and terrorist threat.
