The purpose of research, which are given in the article, is detailed analysis of the existent state of complex of the long workings and development perspective underground mining of Private stock company Pavlogradugol', estimation of total expenses on construction and maintenance of working taking into account repairs, estimation of condition complexity for the development of coal seams on the mines of Western Donbass. Methodical basis of the carried out complex researches is as follows: an analysis and generalization of literary sources and positive experience of maintenance of workings in difficult conditions; methods of mine visual inspections; methods of statistical, valuation, and analytical evaluation of the data on the state of the extended working and complexity of the conditions of development; a comparative analysis of the results achieved. The results of researches are as follows: generalized indexes of workovers on the mines of production amalgamation and separate groups of working; selected group of mines, referred to the category of “large” depth of development; dependence of the length of the workings of the unsatisfactory state on the development condition indicator, obtained from the results of analytical calculations; ways of increasing the stability of extended mine workings of Private stock company DTEK Pavlogradugol'. The got dependences allow determining possible expenses on repair and maintenance of workings in the operating state on the stage of planning. Effective for the examined mining and geological conditions the ways of improvement of support and methods of increase the stability of the long workings are grounded.

The article discusses the relevance of the compact, mobile radio modem sup-ports modern interface USB. The result is the development of a half-duplex tran-sceiver is a device that works with a frequency manipulated signal in a license-free frequency band. The radio modem is equipped with interface USB, through which data is exchanged, as well as its food, as antennas used inefficient quarter-vibrators. Increase in radio range is possible by the use of antennas with high directive gain. Experimental studies of two designed devices were carried out in an urban setting. Their aim was to establish the maximum sustainable radio range (with line of sight) at different data rates as error correction at the reception, and without. Experimenter, away from the transmitting radio modem, monitored the received data. The use of error-correcting coding is most effective at high data rates (up to 3 dB) than at low (1-2 dB). Increase in radio range is possible by reducing the transmission speed - this is due to the dependence of the receiver sensitivity of the speed manipulation. It should also be noted that the decrease in device size is possible by structural modification.

Implemented assessment of the mechanical behavior of reinforced synthetic fibers of polyethylene pipes, which are provided in the construction adhesive layer connecting the reinforcing plastic shells and pipes. Presents the results of quasistatic tests the tensile strength of model samples in the range of low climatic temperature and speed tests 25-100mm/min. The dependence of the temperature of ductile-brittle transition in the mechanism of destruction of model samples of speed tests, which at 100 mm/min up to 0°С. The mechanism of destruction of a model sample of the reinforced polyethylene pipe, consisting in cracking of the technological layer connected with layers of PE80 which ability to braking of a crack and defines transition from viscous destruction to fragile at fall of temperature of tests is interpreted. It appears that this result emphasizes the need to further clarify and harmonize the existing regulatory requirements on the use and operation of pipes and polyethylene pipelines in cold climate regions.
