The paper considers the dynamics of drought periods based on meteorological data for a multi-year period. The research area covers the basins of the Sokolovsky reservoir and the Taganrog Bay. In the course of the study, the following tasks were performed: climatograms were constructed, a correlation analysis of the course of the total amount of precipitation and the course of average annual temperatures was performed, the deviation of air temperatures from the climatic norm for the considered areas was revealed. The tendency to increase the dry period in the Rostov region from north to south has been revealed, which may have an adverse effect on the hydrological regime of water bodies.

In recent decades, composite materials have been widely used in the reinforcement and fabrication of reinforced concrete structures. However, the volume of experimental and research work in Russia is not large enough to determine all the possibilities and real effectiveness of composite materials in this area. This paper presents proposals for improving the methodology for calculating the strength of reinforced concrete flexible eccentrically compressed struts reinforced with composite materials in the transverse direction. The developed proposals are based on the results of experimental studies. The proposals were developed in the field of determining the additional compressive strength of concrete from the action of composite materials located in the transverse direction. The paper describes the shortcomings of the normative calculation methodology and developed a coefficient that corrects the formula for determining the resistance of concrete reinforced with composite materials Rb3.

Ensuring the regulation of the temperature regime of concrete curing to prevent cracking due to temperature gradients and shrinkage deformations is one of the key points in the construction of massive monolithic reinforced concrete structures. A combination of prescription and technological ones are considered as the main methods for regulating the temperature regime of holding during concreting of massive monolithic structures. The analysis of temperature fields and an assessment of possible cracking of concrete during concreting of grillages of bridge supports, holding of concrete during the erection of structures, in which it was carried out by different methods. It was proposed to clearly stipulate in the normative documents the cases of mandatory tests for concrete frost resistance based on samples taken from the structures. When developing design documentation for standardizing concrete quality indicators, it was proposed that the values of the class of concrete in terms of compressive strength should first of all be assigned according to the condition of ensuring the durability of the structure, depending on the class of the operating environment.

The article discusses possible design solutions to improve the seismic resistance of stone buildings. In particular, the installation of antiseismic belts at the floor level, the installation of dowels and nodes for connecting the floor slabs with the walls and among themselves, the reinforcement of the walls with steel clips, as well as the installation of transverse frames, if the maximum distances between the axes of the transverse walls are not observed.

In modern construction, there are a large number of construction production risks that have a negative impact on the construction of buildings and structures. To reduce adverse impacts on the construction process, it is necessary to constantly monitor these risks. The reasons for the risks of construction production and the ways of their solution are presented in the article. The problem of construction production risks is very significant, given the high rate of construction of buildings and structures using new innovative processes and methods. At the same time, any risk can be avoided or minimized by a high-quality, responsible approach to the performance of their work, with the help of regular control, management and monitoring of all construction risks.

Presents the results of a study of the strength of inclined sections of reinforced concrete beams, reinforced with double-sided carbon fiber clamps. An assessment of the effectiveness of composite reinforcement is given when the value of the cut span is changed, which was equal to 1.5h0; 2h0 and 2.5 h0. At the same time, the degree of influence of the initial inclined cracks on the bearing capacity of the inclined section was analyzed.

The construction industry at all times was one of the most popular, as it is closely connected with the life of people. The stronger the population of our planet grows, the more it becomes necessary to erect an ever larger number of be it industrial or residential buildings and structures. This article discusses the problems of technical expertise in determining the volume and cost of actually high-quality work performed. The main problem is that most of the works carried out during construction (repair) are hidden and it is not possible to verify them, therefore, the expert in this examination is forced to be guided by the acts of examination of hidden works and the journal of the work. One of the main causes of disputes between the customer and the contractor is the overestimated volume of work performed, as well as poorly executed work.
