This article presents experimental data on the effect of inter-window heating of the air gap on the heat-shielding properties of a wooden window. In recent years, Russia has significantly tightened the requirements for the heat-shielding qualities of translucent structures of buildings and structures. However, heat losses through the windows continue to account for a significant portion of the total heat losses through the window structures of buildings. Therefore, in order to reduce heat loss through translucent structures and solutions to the problem of energy saving in buildings, it is necessary to look for ways to increase the resistance to heat transfer of windows. One of the solutions for improving the thermal insulation of window structures and increasing comfort in the premises of residential and public buildings in the winter period is the use of inter-glazing space heating.
