The article assesses the impact of road transport on air pollution of roadside areas of a major transport highway in Volgograd. The road-car complex makes a significant contribution to air pollution by solid particles, significantly exceeding the background value. One of the criteria for assessing the impact of dust particles on the air environment according to the World Health Organization is the mass content of particles with a diameter of less than 10 microns (PM10) and 2.5 microns (PM2.5) in atmospheric air, which is normalized in the territory of the Russian Federation by hygienic standards. The fractional composition of dust particles entering the atmospheric air was assessed by the Microtrac S3500 laser particle analyzer, the concentration by the Lighthouse 3016-IAQ particle counter. The results of the dispersion analysis are presented in the form of the Rosin–Rammler–Sperling–Bennett function of the volume distribution of particles over diameters.

The article is devoted to research of thermofluctuation processes of insulating materials of power cable lines (SCR) of electric power systems. It was established that an artificial neural network (ANN) can be used to compile a forecast of the temperature regime of a current-carrying core with an accuracy of 2.5% of the actual value of the core temperature. The comparison of the predicted values with the actual ones allows us to talk about the adequacy of the selected network model and its applicability in practice for reliable operation of the cable system of power supply to consumers. The development of an intelligent system for predicting the temperature of the core SCR contributes to the planning of the operating modes of the power grid in order to increase the reliability and energy efficiency of their interaction with the integrated power system.

Data on the effect on human health of dust from office air conditioners are presented. The microbial and dispersion composition of dust has been studied. Studies have shown that the microbial number in the rooms depends on the floor on which the air conditioner is installed. Also, the presence of large fractions of dust decreases with increasing height at which the air conditioner is installed.

In accordance with the requirements of the legislation of the Russian Federation on the basis of a complex of pros-pecting works, it is necessary to establish the rate of removal of the soil layer. The thickness of the removal of the soil layer is established on the basis of a complex of laboratory studies of soil samples taken from established soil hori-zons. The thickness of the soil horizons is currently determined using stock data based on the characteristic type of soil. However, the thickness of soil horizons in a number of cases on sections characterized by identical soil characteris-tics differ. Thus, in each specific case it is necessary to link the soil sections and boundaries of the selected soil con-tours instrumentally through ecological excavations. High saturation with soil workings can lead to a significant distur-bance of the soil cover of the surveyed area. To solve the above problem, it is proposed to use a unit for studying the power of multicomponent dynamical systems for vertical drilling of soil wells

Negative environmental impacts from the enterprises of construction materials industry could be evaluated by the volume of emissions into the atmosphere suspended solid particles with different aerodynamic diameters. The Problem solution of raising the level of atmosphere protection from the negative effects of pollution sources mostly depends on getting and processing information about particulate dust characteristics. Dispersed composition of dust make possible to design the better way for improving the protection level of air pollution by fine particles dust.

Increasing the level of protection of the air environment of the fine dust is to address the issue of selection of the optimal operating parameters of dust collectors used in emission control systems to the atmosphere building industries. At various stages of the process of building production generated dust emissions have different particulate composition. This complicates the process of collecting dust removal equipment parameters and requires the detailed experimental studies. In this paper we consider the procedure experimental studies fractional breakthrough on different types of plaster dust production; provides recommendations to reduce the number of required tests; received the minimum possible value of the fractional dust breakthrough, regression models to calculate the fractional slip of dust of various fractions
