The advantages and disadvantages of reagent methods for cleaning groundwater from hydrogen sulphide are considered. The time of contact of hydrogen peroxide with hydrogen sulphide contained in the treated water was determined experimentally before the appearance of opalescence caused by the formation of colloidal sulfur. The equation for the time dependence for the start of the hydrogen sulfide oxidation reaction with the concentration of H2O2 is obtained, which makes it possible to calculate the required contact time of the treated water with hydrogen peroxide at a different content of hydrogen sulfide in the initial water.

In the article an accent is done on the problem of fightagainst erosive processes in the regions of North Caucasus. It is marked that earth of recreational zones is windero dedand broken by economic activity of man. And the ant erosion actions and constructions used at the same time are inefficient, need improvement andecologization. Mountain earth is most subject to water erosion, inconnection with the abundant sinking and flow of the meltedwaters. By results of researches erosive processes on slope lands develop more intensively. The substantiation of the need for more effective erosion control measures. Based on the conducted studies the authors have developed more efficient technical solutions to combat water erosion and restoration of disturbed lands. The most effective designs of ant erosion constructions, author's development are offered. The technology of the new generation is an injection method of polymer waterproofing. As for polymeric compositions for injection are used polyurethane compositions; materials based on epoxy tar; micro cement; acrylate gels. Acrylate gels can provide the necessary reliable, highly elastic barrier from water pressure. Reducing the cost of injection waterproofing is possible through the use of acrylate waste paintwork materials (PWM). The results of studies on the use of acrylate wastes (PWM) as a water-repellent additive to concrete, allow us to recommend identical wastes as materials for volumetric water-repellent treatment of building structures in order to reduce the cost of water resistance by injection.

Investigations were conducted to assess the corrosion resistance of stabilized sandy loam soil with ground granulated slags in organic media: mineral oil, gasoline and diesel fuel. A model is proposed for an accelerated study of the corrosion resistance of concretes and other building materials under the conditions of the dynamic effect of the medium under investigation on the test material. The obtained results of X-ray phase analysis of samples and electron microscopic studies suggest that as a result of hydration of minerals of ground slag and ground, low-base CSH (B) hydrosilicates are formed, the sizes of new formations and inclusions on ETF slag are less than on CMP slag.

This article presents the results of the experimental study of how the loading rate effects the strength characteristics of soft soils. As such characteristics, the shear strength of soil was used being equal to the magnitude of tangential stresses when the limiting state was reached. The magnitude of the shear strength is considerably dependent on the strain rate. The experimental determination of this dependence was performed using the method of dynamic penetration of an axisymmetric body into the soil. Along with that, a direct measurement of stresses acting tangential to the surface of the body during its penetration into the soil was effected. Experimental studies were carried out for the body being penetrated with the range of rates from 2 to 100 m/s. It has been found that within the range of rates from 2 to 10 m/s the magnitude of the shear strength of soil increases as the loading rate grows. Further, its magnitude starts decreasing and at the rate of over 95 m/s becomes negligible. This gives grounds to construe soft soils subjected to dynamic loading as a compressible liquid.
